Edmunds Cocktails are a premium bottled cocktail producer with a clear purpose; to help everyone serve perfect cocktails quickly, easily and consistently without sacrificing quality or taste.

The Edmunds Cocktails team impressed the ACG membership when they pitched in early 2024. They arrived with their beautifully designed products and engaging pitch which led to a successful investment as part of a £1.4m round, they have since been successful in securing co-funding through the New Anglia Capital Fund.

Founded by two brothers in 2019 with experience of working for some of the world's best beer and spirits brands, the team were well placed to understand the challenges that come with creating bar quality cocktails.​​​

The Journey So Far

​

Founded in Bury St Edmunds, the company seeks to source ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible. Edmunds Cocktails are hand blended, bottled and labelled in-house. Founders, Tom and Paul Mayes focus on skilfully selecting and blending flavours to perfection so customers can shake, stir, serve and garnish with confidence

The business was initially self-funded and bootstrapped to over £1.2m in annual revenue by the beginning of 2023.

Key achievements:

• Sold over 750k cocktails in 2024

• Moved into a new 8k sq ft warehouse and production facility in Norwich

• Refined and improved production processes ready for scale, comfortably able to produce over 12k cocktails a day

• Launching in Pizza Express, De Vere Hotels, Adnams, The Hoxton, Nobu Hotels, Hall & Woodhouse, Brunning & Price, The Chestnut Group and hundreds more small groups and independents

• Producing cocktails for Diddly Squat (Clarksons Farm), using their Hint of Hot Gin and other spirits

• The official cocktail partner of the 2025 Olivier Awards, serving cocktails to guests at The Natural Museum

Paul and I started Edmunds in my kitchen back in 2019, so it feels surreal that we’re now employing 14 people, including my dad, and making over 20,000 cocktails a week. We’ve got ambitious plans for growth, and with the backing from our investors we want to show more people that you can now get genuine bar quality cocktails from a bottle.”
